Dr. Taylor Wilkins MD, CCFP

Sport Medicine Physician 

Dr. Taylor Wilkins earned her medical degree from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in 2023, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa in 2025. Her interest in sport and exercise medicine began during her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at McMaster University.

Dr. Wilkins has provided medical coverage at regional, provincial, and national sporting events for varsity athletics, Ontario Soccer, Ironman 70.3 events, and the   Canadian Wrestling Nationals. Prior to medical school, she was employed for 5 years at the Physical Activity Centre of Excellence, where she supported cardiac, cancer, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation programs. She also taught and contributed to course development for McMaster’s Department of Kinesiology.

Outside of work, Dr. Wilkins enjoys skiing, baking, and flying – she is also a licensed private pilot!
